💻 Software Engineering Intern – AI-Driven Relationship Intelligence

Job Type: Paid Internship | Flexible Hours | Remote-Friendly
Location: Vista/Oceanside, CA (hybrid preferred — 1–3 days/week in office, flexible)
Pay: $20–$30/hour based on experience

🚀 What You’ll Do

As an intern at Feather, you’ll contribute to real features used by real users — not just internal tools. You’ll work closely with our founding team to:

  • Build modern UIs in React + TypeScript
  • Develop backend APIs using Node.js
  • Integrate with OpenAI, LangChain, and other AI tools
  • Model relationship data using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Neo4j
  • Use Cursor (AI-powered coding assistant) to ship faster and learn along the way
  • Participate in collaborative team sprints and product iterations
  • This is a hands-on internship — you’ll leave with production code, real experience, and tangible impact.

 

🧠 Skills You’ll Bring or Build

We don’t expect you to know everything — we’re here to help you grow. That said, here are some helpful skills:

  • React + JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Node.js and REST API development
  • Git and GitHub workflows
  • Curiosity around AI/ML (e.g. OpenAI, LangChain)
  • Clear communication and creative problem-solving
  • Bonus: familiarity with graph databases (e.g. Neo4j)
