
Junior Project Engineer
As a Junior Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Project Administration
- Assist in document control, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.
- Help maintain project filing systems (both digital and physical) in Procore, Owner-Insite, Sage and company drives.
- Schedule and attend meetings, coordinate project calendars, and manage logistics for site visits.
- Support project team with site setup and closeout processes (permits, utilities, deliveries, etc.).
- Track project milestones, maintain action logs, and support weekly progress reporting.
- Help prepare and organize closeout packages and warranty documentation.
Contract & Accounting Support
- Learn how to process subcontractor and vendor pay applications and assist with monthly owner billings.
- Enter timekeeping, credit card expenses, and material purchases into ERP systems.
- Track lien waivers, compliance docs, and subcontractor insurance requirements.
- Support change management processes, including pricing, logging, and routing for approvals.
Field & Vendor Coordination
- Communicate with subcontractors to collect deliverables and track jobsite readiness.
- Coordinate deliveries, inspections, safety paperwork, and site access as needed.
- Assist in updating drawings, site signage, and logs using Procore, Owner-Insite, Sage, or Bluebeam.
Process Improvement & Technology
- Assist with new project setup in Procore, Owner-Insite, Sage and ERP.
- Help develop templates, SOPs, or efficiencies for recurring administrative workflows.
- Stay current with company software (e.g., Procore, Owner-Insite, Sage, DocuSign, Concur, Bluebeam).
