Financial Due Diligence Associate

About OakBridge Advisory Services

Founded in 2023, OakBridge is an advisory firm providing financial due diligence and Office of the CFO services to private equity, corporations, and founder-owned businesses before, during, and after the M&A process. We pride ourselves on providing best-in-class services to our clients because we have best-in-class team members.

Our Financial Due Diligence Practice delivers exceptional service by helping clients navigate complex financial landscapes with precision. We collaborate closely with our clients, providing tailored solutions to drive growth and success throughout the transaction lifecycle.

At OakBridge, we offer hands-on learning opportunities for highly motivated accounting and finance students. Our 2026 Full-time Associate Position provides real-world experience in financial due diligence, emphasizing technical accounting, financial statement analyses, teamwork, and a strong commitment to excellence. You’ll receive formal training and on-the-job experience to prepare you for a rewarding career in M&A advisory.

What will you be doing?

As an associate at OakBridge, you will collaborate with our driven and entrepreneurial team on a variety of financial due diligence projects. You’ll gain exposure to our due diligence approach, which goes beyond traditional methods by focusing on key value drivers for our clients, combining deep operational and industry expertise with best-in-class financial accounting services to deliver value throughout the M&A process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in financial analysis for buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements.
  • Support the team in identifying key financial risks and opportunities for clients.
  • Prepare detailed analyses, reports, and presentations for internal and client use.

Who will you be working with?

OakBridge is not your typical advisory firm. We’re a close-knit group of entrepreneurial and driven professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service. We emphasize teamwork, ownership, integrity, and attention to detail in everything we do. At OakBridge, we offer opportunities, not a playbook—rewarding our people based on performance and innovation, not tenure.

How will you grow and be supported?
At OakBridge, we invest in our people by offering a range of career development opportunities. Associates receive comprehensive training and mentorship throughout their experience. Our commitment to entrepreneurship and teamwork means you’ll have the chance to take ownership of your work while being supported by a collaborative and knowledgeable team. You will be empowered to grow in a dynamic environment with real-world learning opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field prior to start date.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Detailed understanding of financial statements and the underlying accounting.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Associate Compensation:

The salary for our Associates is $75,000 per year with an anticipated performance based bonus of $34,000 (45% of base). Associates are eligible for OakBridge’s benefits including health, dental, life insurance, 401(k) contributions, and other fringe benefits during their employment.

Locations:

New York City (hybrid) and fully remote.  Associates will have in-person training for one week in either Dallas or New York City as part of their onboarding process.

Diversity & Inclusion:
At OakBridge, we celebrate independent thinkers and foster a collaborative environment where all team members can thrive. Our values—attention to detail, client service, entrepreneurship, and teamwork—are the foundation of our inclusive culture. We believe in creating a workplace where everyone can bring their full selves to work and contribute to our collective success.

Equal Opportunity Employer:
OakBridge is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
