Engineer, Cloud Operations & Support

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain eGain’s Cloud Services based on AWS infrastructure, services, and tools
  • Develop and maintain tools to automate routine operational tasks
  • Resolve customer questions about eGain Cloud SaaS solutions via phone, chat, and email
  • Troubleshoot customer problems, working with product engineering

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
  • Experience in a cloud operations or technical support role in a SaaS company (preferred)
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred)
  • Experience in building automation tools using AI (preferred)

Step 1

Written test

  • Aptitude section – this is a GRE style test (60 minutes or less)
  • Functional section  – this is a take-home test

Step 2

Panel interview – (in-person at eGain Sunnyvale office)
