Summary
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Software Engineer to join our IT team and support mission-critical applications for our aerospace distribution operations. You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing software systems that drive our logistics, inventory, procurement, and enterprise data integration processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions to support business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Sales, Procurement, and Warehousing to gather requirements and deliver scalable software tools
- Support integration with ERP, CRM, and supply chain systems
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing codebases to enhance performance and usability
- Ensure software meets cybersecurity and compliance standards required in aerospace and defense industries
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
- Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning and code reviews
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in software development (C#, Java, Python, or similar)
- Solid experience with SQL databases and RESTful API integrations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the aerospace or defense sector
- Exposure to logistics or supply chain systems
- Knowledge of government compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR, DFARS)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate.
- Familiarity with Quantum Control (ERP) a plus.
