Summary

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Software Engineer to join our IT team and support mission-critical applications for our aerospace distribution operations. You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing software systems that drive our logistics, inventory, procurement, and enterprise data integration processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions to support business operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Sales, Procurement, and Warehousing to gather requirements and deliver scalable software tools
  • Support integration with ERP, CRM, and supply chain systems
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing codebases to enhance performance and usability
  • Ensure software meets cybersecurity and compliance standards required in aerospace and defense industries
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
  • Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning and code reviews

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software development (C#, Java, Python, or similar)
  • Solid experience with SQL databases and RESTful API integrations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the aerospace or defense sector
  • Exposure to logistics or supply chain systems
  • Knowledge of government compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR, DFARS)
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with Quantum Control (ERP) a plus.
