Development Intern

Link’s 10-week paid summer internship program helps students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics of logistics real estate. We offer internships in over 15 departments including Capital Markets, Construction, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments, IT, Asset Management, Property Management, Sustainability and more.   

  

Link is looking for actively enrolled juniors (rising seniors) who would be interested in supporting the Development Team with the administrative oversight of development-related reporting, data management, and project execution. This position will be exposed to all facets of Industrial Real Estate. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Help establish and monitor project budgets and schedules for developments through the project life cycle 
  • Maintaining market lease assumption 
  • Manage project documentation support cashflow projections and update as budget and schedules evolve 
  • Support all phases of the Development from acquisition through lease-up 
  • Support “Close Out” process of completed developments and ensure all documentation is received and financial records are finalized 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current junior (rising senior) undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution 
  • Pursuing a degree in a civil engineering, real estate, construction management or related field 
  • Strong interest in commercial real estate asset management and investment (no formal experience required) 
  • Basic understanding of real estate investment and financing processes including, but not limited to, market analysis, financial analysis, property valuation and capital markets 
  • Exceptional knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills since interaction with senior level management will be required 
  • Willingness to relocate and be assessable to attend onsite meetings. 
  • Familiarity with onsite protocol and safety procedures. 
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external teams to ensure project success.  
  • Must currently be actively enrolled for consideration of internship  

 

$30/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
