Join our highly experienced sales team in promoting innovative architectural systems that enhance the look and feel of our communities. We are looking for a highly relational person with a high technical aptitude. This is an entry level sales position that will initially be focused on learning about products, developing customer relationships and providing sales support to the team. The goal of this position is to grow into an outside sales representative who serves architects, general contractors and installing contractors.
Sales Management
- Follow-up sales activities and maintain customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Know “who” to call with specific questions for all products.
- Engage in lead generation activities.
- Maintain a high level of organization for sales reports, files, promotional materials, and archives.
Estimating
- Create customer proposals.
- Estimate project take-off quantities and generate bill of materials.
- Configure products to meet application requirements and obtain supplier quotes.
Project Management
- Create and maintain digital project folders that include job costing and order information.
- Coordinate the shop drawing process between the customers and vendors.
- Check and verify the final bill of materials for accuracy and release orders for production.
- Track all orders and give regular order status updates to customers using clear project reports.
Customer Service
- Pick up the phone and always return e-mail and voicemail promptly.
- Develop customer relationships and maintain a professional image.
- Answer technical questions and provide customer support.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate responses with customers and vendors.
Marketing
- Create detailed architectural specifications with appropriate product configurations.
- Create high quality submittals, installation instructions and closeout documents.
- Coordinate special events and training programs.
- Create presentations and promotional items.
Training and Development
- Attend sales and product training seminars.
- Participate in company sponsored professional development programs.
Minimum Qualifications:

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
