Leadership Trainee - Sales

Program Overview: 

The QXO Leadership Training Program (LTP) is a one-year rotational experience designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals interested in launching a career in outside sales. Through structured learning, hands-on assignments, and mentorship, associates gain the knowledge and leadership skills needed to progress into Outside Sales roles upon successful completion. 

As a participant, you will join a cohort of high-potential leaders, gain access to an exclusive program alumni network, and engage in peer learning and networking events that strengthen your leadership capabilities and broaden your professional connections 

The program combines virtual learning modules, regional on-the-job rotations, and capstone leadership projects, giving participants practical business experience while building strong management and operational foundations. 

 

What You’ll Experience: 

Participate in immersive regional rotations covering branch operations, sales, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, human resources and customer experience. 

Direct field training, including territory management, prospecting, pipeline development, and closing sales with supervision from experienced mentors. 

Participation in leadership and sales workshops, role plays, and capstone projects focused on delivering customer and business impact. 

Collaboration with both Operations and Sales teams, learning how branches are supported by cross-functional partners and how sales strategies are executed on the ground. 

Partner with a dedicated mentor and regional leader to receive ongoing coaching and performance feedback aligned with the business strategy. 

Develop core leadership competencies such as effective communication, building collaborative relationships, decision making, problem solving and emotional intelligence essential for success in QXO leadership roles. 

Who You Are: 

A recent college graduate (bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field) or early-career professional with 1–2 years of industry experience. 

An energetic, goal-oriented communicator excited about forging customer relationships and creating business value. 

Comfortable with a dynamic, field-based work environment, with a willingness to travel within your region. 

Motivated by teamwork, driven to learn continuously, and aligned with QXO’s values and customer-first culture. 

Willing to relocate or travel regionally for rotations and future leadership roles 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Internship or work experience in B2B sales, distribution, or building materials. 

Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset. 

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Experience with CRM or sales tools
