Are you passionate about Roblox, Lua scripting, or game design—and excited by the idea of inspiring the next generation of creators? We're looking for a part-time Roblox Game Design Instructor to lead fun, hands-on after-school classes in Los Angeles.
In this role, you’ll guide students (grades 6–12) as they use Roblox Studio to design obstacle courses, build interactive game mechanics, and publish their own playable games. Our curriculum is fully prepared—you just bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and teaching energy!
What You’ll Do
- Lead engaging Roblox Game Design classes using our structured curriculum
- Help students build Obbys, write Lua scripts, and create in-game challenges
- Support students as they publish and test their games
- Maintain a fun, organized, and inclusive classroom environment
- Answer basic coding questions and guide students through projects
- Communicate with parents, school staff, and Learn2Code.Live coordinators
You’re a Great Fit If You…
- Are familiar with Roblox Studio and basic Lua scripting
- Enjoy working with middle and high school students
- Are patient, positive, and energetic
- Have weekday availability after school (no weekends!)
- Can independently troubleshoot simple tech issues
- Are a student, recent graduate, or tech enthusiast eager to share what you know
