Nectar is looking for a highly organized, self-motivated intern to support internal documentation, Confluence updates, and publishing workflows. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured administrative work, is comfortable with software tools, and can learn new systems quickly.
Role Overview
The Administrative & Document Management Intern will help organize and publish internal documents, export and format content from Confluence, build and maintain folder structures, and support onboarding and configuring Comala Document Control within our documentation workflow. The work is hands-on and detail-oriented, with an emphasis on learning new tools and improving how our teams manage information.
What You’ll Do
- Export pages from Confluence and convert them into Word documents
- Build and maintain a clean, consistent folder structure for documentation
- Format documents, apply naming conventions, and handle version updates
- Help onboard and configure Comala Document Control for publishing workflows
- Update and maintain Confluence content (as directed by the team)
- Research new tools, features, and best practices to improve document workflows
- Provide general administrative support related to documentation and internal processes
What We’re Looking For
- Very organized and attentive to detail
- Self-motivated and able to learn new software quickly
- Strong computer/software comfort — able to troubleshoot, research, and problem-solve
- Willingness to onboard and work within Comala Document Control
- Comfortable with Confluence (or ready to learn)
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Able to follow structured processes and maintain consistency
- Strong communication skills and willingness to ask clarifying questions
Internship Details
- Duration: 6 months
- Hours: Part-time or full-time
- Compensation: $20/hr (paid internship)
- Location: Long Beach, CA (some hybrid flexibility)
