Superintendent Foreman
Builders Tech NM is seeking an experienced, on-site, hands-on Superintendent Foreman to oversee day-to-day construction activities across multiple modular, residential, and light commercial projects. This position is responsible for managing crews, coordinating trades, supervising site operations, and ensuring that each job is delivered on time, within budget, and to code.
We are looking for a true builder — someone who knows how to lead with boots on the ground, solve problems on-site, and drive production through personal knowledge of all construction phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all field operations on active construction sites, including layout, scheduling, and crew supervision
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, engineers, and city officials
- Oversee quality control, safety protocols, and project timelines
- Ensure work is performed to plans, specifications, building codes, and licensing standards (GB-98)
- Maintain accurate daily logs, photos, and updates of construction progress
- Review scopes of work, plans, and permit documents for field execution
- Problem-solve and make real-time decisions to keep projects moving efficiently
- Lead by example, maintain professionalism on-site, and uphold company reputation
- Work with Owner and Project Manager to coordinate deliveries, billing, and changes
- Manage small crews directly and self-perform work when necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on residential construction experience
- Proven experience managing crews and leading construction projects in the field
- Strong working knowledge of structural and finish trades
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Must have reliable transportation and basic tools
- Comfortable using project management tools, time tracking apps, and email
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Compensation:
- 1099 Contractor with competitive weekly pay based on experience and capability
- Pay structure may include bonuses tied to performance milestones
