The Role
As our new Project Coordinator, you’ll be more than just a spreadsheet wrangler. You’ll work closely with our Construction Manager to support field operations, keep information organized, and help projects run smoothly. As the company grows, you’ll also support broader administrative coordination and help bring structure to key internal programs — especially our apprenticeship program.
We’re looking for someone who can think independently, come up with ideas, and thrive in a startup-like environment where not every process is set in stone. This is an entry-level role with training provided. Construction experience is a plus, but we care most about attitude, organization, and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with the Construction Manager on day-to-day coordination and administrative support
- Coordinate schedules, updates, and communication between field leadership and internal teams
- Track project status, action items, and deliverables; follow up to keep work moving and deadlines on track
- Maintain organized project documentation (job files, photos, reports, project notes, etc.)
- Prepare and distribute meeting notes, internal updates, and basic reports as needed
- Support onboarding, training coordination, and documentation for apprentices and new hires
- Help create, improve, and standardize internal processes and workflows as the company grows
- Assist with light marketing/social media tasks to keep our audience informed (as needed)
- Participate in occasional job site visits to support documentation and coordination
What We’re Looking For
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Communications, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field). If no bachelor’s degree, applicants must have prior experience as a Project Coordinator or in a closely related coordination/administrative role (construction, operations, or project support).
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication; professional email/phone etiquette; ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Organization: Detail-oriented, reliable follow-through, able to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
- Tech Comfort: Strong working knowledge of Excel; comfortable learning new systems and tools
- Mindset: Creative problem solver, independent thinker, and someone who enjoys building new processes in a growing company
- Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to job sites as needed
