Research Administration Student Assistant

 

This is an exciting opportunity to gain Research Administration experience as a student at the University of Colorado | School of Medicine. PreAward Shared Services (PASS) assists researchers at the Anschutz Medical Campus in the submission and preaward administration of grants and contracts.  We are seeking candidates with a desire to learn about research administration in a higher education setting. This opportunity will introduce the selected candidate to National Institutes of Health grants and university research administration, and give them the opportunity to engage with world renowned biomedical researchers.

Job Location: Anschutz Medical Campus 

 

Job Description: 

 

This role will support the development and submission of National Institutes of Health biomedical research grant applications and progress reports.

  • Prepare faculty Biographical Sketches in SciENcv, a federal platform for managing personnel information submitted with grant applications and reports
  • Prepare faculty Current and Pending Support in SciENcv
  • Communicate with faculty regarding the status of their files and required changes
  • Organize personnel files in collaboration with PASS Grants Consultants
  • Adhere to deadlines set by supervisor or other PASS Grants Consultants

 

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Must be a current student in an accredited degree program
  • Must be reliable, punctual and maintain a consistent schedule up to 20 hours per week
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • Able to multitask 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and in a group setting
  • Strong communication skills 

 

Pay Range: $16.55/hr
