Investor Relations Analyst

Role Overview
The Investor Relations Analyst will support the firm’s client service, reporting, and marketing efforts across all product lines. This role is ideal for a junior professional (0–1 yrs of experience) seeking to develop a strong foundation in Investor Relations within an institutional credit investment environment. The Analyst will operate in a fast-paced setting with competing priorities, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, composure, and critical thinking.

 

This is not a sales or investment position, but a core entry-level support role within the Investor Relations team with opportunities for long-term growth and expanded responsibility as the individual develops.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly client reports and investor updates
  • Maintain and update the firm’s CRM (Salesforce) and internal workflow trackers
  • Manage the Investor Relations and Beach Point Info inboxes, ensuring inquiries are promptly reviewed, tracked, and responded to or escalated appropriately
  • Monitor and oversee the meeting calendar and prepare related materials, including coordinating, printing, and binding reports and copies as needed
  • Support marketing efforts by liaising with Compliance to obtain distribution approvals for marketing materials and presentations 
  • Develop an understanding of key regulatory matters and marketing distribution rules, and effectively communicate these rules and disclosures to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance processes are followed 
  • Coordinate and refine custom presentation decks and meeting prep materials for internal and external parties
  • Contribute to marketing and fundraising materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Support completion of due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), data requests, and ad-hoc investor inquiries accurately and efficiently
  • Assist in maintaining consultant databases and data portals, helping ensure firm and product information remains current and consistent for external stakeholders
  • Provide secondary support for new fund activity, capital calls, closings, and distribution reconciliations with Fund Administrators, including investor documentation and coordination as needed
  • Identify and implement process improvements leveraging technology, automation, and AI tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 0–1 years of experience (internship or full-time) in finance or related area
  • Foundational understanding of credit markets and investment structures
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy, composure, and accountability
  • Strong problem-solving mindset; able to research, think critically, and present thoughtful alternatives
  • High degree of professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to quality with exceptional attention to detail and consistency
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis) and PowerPoint for building clear, investor-ready materials 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM applications, business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and Canva or other desktop publishing tools is a plus
