Health Scholar Assistant

Role Description

The Health Scholar Assistant is a full-time, on-site position located in Los Angeles, CA (remote until June; in-person duties begin June 1st). Responsibilities include driving program participation through various, multi-dimensional outreach methods, overseeing the smooth onboarding and training of incoming cohorts, file management, departmental operations, and team coordination. The Health Scholar Assistant will engage with Scholars to enhance their overall experience and provide administrative assistance to support the management team in achieving their goals. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care is a key aspect of this role.

 

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or graduated from Health Scholar Programs preferred
  • Strong customer drive and dedication to quality and success
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work well independently
  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively while handling multiple projects on various timelines in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Flexible with work hours, able to travel, and be able to work on evenings and weekends as need arises
  • High level of proficiency of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Graduated from a college or university preferred
