Virtual Math Tutor -Precalc, AP Calc, AP Stat (CA)

Responsibilities
- Tutor high school students in math (ability to also tutor science is a plus)
- Teach time management and study strategies
- Break down challenging material into clear, manageable lessons
- Support students in preparing for assessments and building academic confidence
Requirements
- 1–2 years of tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience (formal or informal)
- Commitment of 5–8 hours per week, typically between 2–9 pm on weekdays (weekend availability a plus)
- Ability to commit for the full school year, September through early June
- Proficiency with Zoom and online teaching tools
- California residents preferred
Key Skills
- Subject mastery in high school math (Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics) and science
- Strong teaching ability with excellent communication skills
- Ability to motivate and support students of varying skill levels
- Organizational skills to help students manage assignments, projects, and deadlines
Interview Process:
Our selection process includes the following stages:
- Application: Answer screening questions and completel references via Google Form
- Interview 1: Skills and experience screening
- Interview 2: Simulated tutoring session(s) with our team and/or panel
- Background Check: Final candidates must pass a background check
