Commercial Escrow Assistant
Support Escrow Officers in closing commercial real estate transactions, including managing escrow accounts, reviewing title commitments, reviewing title related documents including deeds, affidavit, communicating requests to underwriting staff, communicating with outside parties on status of closing/closing items, managing post-closing matters including issuing policies, following up on releases, and uploading and closing out files.

Job Duties:
- Open new orders
- Receive and review title commitments
- Review title objections and comments
- Update commitments based on survey reviews
- Communicate with local title offices
- Communicate with parties to transaction including attorneys and lenders
- Handle funding of escrow accounts, including:
- Verbally verify wire instructions
- Input wire data into system
- Handle releasing of wires, sending checks
- Coordinate sending of original documents for recording
- Send final closing document packages to buyer/seller/lenders
- Manage post-closing including:
- Following up on recording status
- Issuing policies
- Following up on releases
- Refunding excess funds
- Documenting/uploading/closing out file
