As we scale, maintaining high conversation quality and onboarding the right Shmoozers is critical. We are looking for a Quality Control & Shmoozer Recruitment Representative to help ensure every interaction on the app meets our standards.

Role Overview

This role sits at the intersection of recruitment, quality assurance, and operations. You will be responsible for reviewing, onboarding, and monitoring Shmoozers (conversation providers), while ensuring a consistently high-quality user experience inside the app.

This role involves highly structured workflows, recurring reviews, and repetitive evaluation tasks that require strong focus, consistency, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Shmoozer Recruitment & Hiring

  • Review a high volume of Shmoozer applications (profiles, intro videos, availability, background)
  • Apply consistent evaluation criteria to approvals, rejections, or revision requests
  • Ensure new Shmoozers align with Shmoozer’s values, tone, and quality standards
  • Track application status and onboarding progress accurately
  • Coordinate onboarding steps and training requirements

Quality Control & App Monitoring

  • Perform ongoing, repetitive quality checks on conversations, ratings, and user feedback
  • Review reported conversations or flagged accounts using defined protocols
  • Identify quality issues (tone, professionalism, reliability, user experience)
  • Take appropriate actions (warnings, temporary suspension, removal) following clear guidelines
  • Maintain precise, up-to-date documentation of decisions and quality checks

Standards & Process Improvement

  • Follow and help refine standardized quality guidelines and evaluation frameworks
  • Flag recurring issues or patterns to the internal team
  • Support updates to onboarding materials and internal processes

Requirements

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills within defined guidelines
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and confidentially
  • Reliable, disciplined, and process-oriented
  • Able to manage checklists, tracking tools, and structured workflows

Compensation

  • $20-25/hour
