About the Team
The team's scope of responsibility centers on conducting technical and release program management for a portfolio of critical Nutanix products, including Nutanix Unified Storage, the Nutanix AI product, and Level 3 direct support, as well as managing internal AI adoption within Nutanix. The team's charter involves content planning and execution, assisting with release management for multiple product sets, and managing all cross-team and cross-functional dependencies.
Your Role
- Assist in day-to-day project management and tracking for Nutanix's product portfolio, including unified storage and GenAI initiatives.
- Support the execution of key programs by managing cross-team dependencies and release management processes.
- Explore and propose integrating GenAI technologies into program management practices to enhance team efficiency.
- Demonstrate proficiency in tracking program metrics and data visualization using tools like Jira and Tableau.
- Produce high-quality written communication products, including project documents and weekly reports, suitable for presentation to higher-level audiences.
- Transition from tracking to active management of program dependencies after the initial 60 days, contributing to reporting and visualization efforts.
- Contribute to the successful rollout of product releases during the first 90 days through planning and execution support.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and articulate its processes effectively throughout the internship.
What You Will Bring
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa, such as an F-1, H-1B, or TN visa.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Management).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn Jira for data tracking and management.
- Predictive Modeling
- Release management and QA data tracking.
- Experience with data visualization tools, especially Tableau.
- Hands-on knowledge or interest in AI technologies (GenAI) and their application in program management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling the production of high-quality reports and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and manage dependencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve program management processes.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e., San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $36 and USD $60 per hour.
