Junior and Senior Accountant

Position: Junior and Senior Accountant

Location: 2050 W Sam Houston Pkwy S, Houston TX 77042

Office Hours: Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm

Position Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for supporting the company’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, account reconciliation, and daily accounting activities. This role works closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

· Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

· Prepare and maintain daily cash reports and monitor bank account balances

· Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations

· Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes

· Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation

· Prepare expense reports and perform variance analysis across company locations

· Reconcile intercompany accounts

· Support external accountants and auditors with tax filings and financial reporting

· Assist in improving and documenting accounting procedures and internal controls

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and coding

· Provide guidance or support to junior accounting staff when necessary

· Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

· Junior accountant: 1-3 years

· Senior accountant: 4+ years experience

· Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar ERP systems)

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

· Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Chinese language skills are a plus but not required
