Finance, Strategy and Project Management Analyst - Chief of Staff

Job Title: Personal Chief of Staff (Strategy, Analytics & Systems)

Hours: 15–20 hours/week
Compensation: $20–$40/hour (flexible for exceptional candidates)

Overview

Seeking an unusually sharp, analytical operator to work directly with a hospitality technology and engineering executive across multiple initiatives including corporate leadership, public policy advisory boards, nonprofit research, data/AI consulting, and venture development.

This role is for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building systems from scratch, and creating order out of chaos. You will function as a strategic right hand—helping manage teams, design operational infrastructure, and ensure the executive’s time and priorities are focused on the highest-impact work.

Ideal for a high-performing junior/senior undergraduate or MBA student interested in consulting, venture building, policy, or executive leadership.

What You'll Do

Strategic Operations

Build systems for goal-setting, planning, and execution across multiple initiatives

Turn ambiguous problems into structured workflows and operating processes

Financial & Strategic Analysis

Support budgeting, financial tracking, and business modeling

Build dashboards and reporting systems to improve decision-making

Team Coordination

Coordinate work across research teams, consulting pods, legislative affairs staff, and administrative support

Create systems for accountability, communication, and execution

Automation & AI

Identify opportunities to streamline operations using automation and AI tools

Implement lightweight systems that improve productivity and reduce manual work

Business Development

Support consulting engagements, research initiatives, and new venture opportunities

Assist with analysis, proposals, and strategic planning

Ideal Candidate

Junior/Senior at a competitive university or MBA student

Strong analytical ability and structured thinking

Internship experience in consulting, startups, finance, analytics, policy, or operations

Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency

Strong bias toward building systems and improving processes

Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
