Pacific Homecare Services is looking for a dynamic and engaging Training Specialist to join our Human Resources team.
While prior training or HR experience is beneficial, we are open to candidates with strong academic backgrounds or professional experience who demonstrate exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership potential.
At Pacific Homecare, we will teach you the curriculum, train you on the material, and cover the cost of your CPR/First Aid Instructor Certification.

What You’ll Do
As a Training Specialist, you will play a key role in preparing our care providers for success through onboarding, education, and skills development.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate onboarding training sessions for newly hired care providers
- Conduct or assist with CPR and First Aid training classes (certification provided)
- Prepare materials and equipment needed for training sessions
- Ensure onboarding materials are stocked and organized in the office
- Assign and track in-service training for care providers
- Coordinate and conduct live in-service training sessions through Pacific Academy
- Research new training topics and techniques to improve caregiver education
- Maintain knowledge of current CPR/First Aid training methods
- Prepare and distribute care provider onboarding packages as needed
- Travel to other Pacific Homecare offices to conduct training sessions
- Maintain confidentiality of client and employee information in compliance with HIPAA
- Participate in quarterly staff meetings and ongoing professional development
- Perform additional training-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; or three years’ work experience in a similar position
- Ability to coordinate and implement employee orientation programs
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to groups and facilitating discussions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must currently possess or obtain CPR/First Aid Instructor Certification within the first 30 days of employment (paid for by Pacific Homecare Services)
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required
- Ability to travel to other Pacific Homecare office locations for training
- Must successfully pass DMV Motor vehicle check and meet company insurability requirements.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required
