Intern – Executive Assistant & Consulting Support (Part-Time)

 

Schedule: Part-time | Start time 8:00 AM

Hours: Approximately up to 20 hours per week

Day starts Monday thru Thursday 8:30 AM. No exceptions.

 

Compensation: $20–$22/hour (EA responsibilities)

Additional project consulting work may be available at a different rate, depending on skills and project needs.

Role Overview

This role is designed for an MBA student interested in learning how consulting firms operate while providing executive-level administrative support.

 

The primary responsibility will be supporting the executive team through organization, coordination, and administrative execution. Over time, interns may have opportunities to participate in consulting-related tasks such as research, analysis, and project support.

 

This structure provides exposure to both how consulting firms run operationally and how consulting work is delivered to clients.

 

 

Core Responsibilities (Executive Assistant Functions)

  • Manage scheduling, calendars, and meeting coordination
  • Organize emails, documents, and internal communications
  • Assist with preparation of meeting materials and agendas
  • Support preparation of presentations, reports, and documents
  • Maintain organized files and project documentation
  • Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups across projects
  • Assist with coordination of meetings, events, and outreach activities

 

Potential Consulting Project Opportunities

Depending on performance and interest, interns may support consulting work such as:

  • Research on community engagement, workforce development, and marketing initiatives
  • Assistance with surveys, outreach programs, and data summaries
  • Development of presentation materials and project briefs
  • Background research for strategic consulting projects
  • Support for outreach and business mentorship programs

These assignments may be compensated at a separate project rate depending on the scope of work.

  • Current MBA student or graduate student (preferred)
