Sales Operations Intern
Title: Sales Operations Intern (Salesforce Data & CRM Support)
Overview
Guardian is looking for a detail-oriented intern to support our Sales Operations team by improving the accuracy and organization of data within Salesforce. This role will focus on cleaning up account and opportunity records, ensuring data consistency, and helping maintain the integrity of our CRM system so the sales team can operate more effectively.
Location/Hours
- Houston- Pasadena or Tomball offices
- Hybrid schedule (remote and onsite required)
- 6 weeks (summer)
- 15-20 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Review and clean up Salesforce data including accounts, contacts, and opportunities
- Identify and merge duplicate records and correct incomplete or inconsistent data
- Standardize naming conventions and ensure fields are populated correctly
- Assist with updating account ownership, territories, and key customer information
- Support data imports, exports, and bulk updates in Salesforce
- Help maintain data quality by flagging errors or missing information
- Assist Sales Operations with reporting and dashboard updates as needed
- Document data cleanup processes and recommendations for improving CRM hygiene
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Interest in business operations, sales operations, or data management
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies in data
- Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems is a plus but not required
- Self-motivated and able to work independently on structured tasks
