Acquisitions Analyst
ACQUISITIONS ANALYST
Presidium is seeking ambitious undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in business, real estate, finance or related fields to join our investment team as Acquisitions Analysts. This hands-on internship delivers direct exposure to multifamily acquisitions and underwriting, including deal sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models for acquisitions, development, refinancing, and dispositions
- Assist with investment package preparation for debt and equity partners
- Support due diligence (review third-party reports, leases, financials, market comps)
- Conduct detailed market and submarket research (rent growth, supply pipeline, job drivers)
- Compile and analyze comparable sales and lease comps
- Help coordinate closing checklists, legal docs, and post-acquisition onboarding
- Track deal pipeline and maintain acquisition tracking database
- Additional ad-hoc analyses as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Current undergraduate student (sophomore or senior preferred) at an accredited university
- Strong academic performance (GPA 3.3+ preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine interest in real estate investment and asset management
- Prior internship in real estate, finance, or banking a plus
- Coursework in real estate finance or investments a plus
