Sterilization Technician

Part-Time Sterilization Technician — $18/hr + Growth Opportunities

Saturdays Availability Required | Supportive Team | Entry-Level Friendly

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Sterilization Technician to join our team full-time. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their dental career who is motivated, eager to learn, and excited to grow in a supportive clinical environment.

This position requires Saturday availability and offers monthly bonuses, hands-on training, and exposure to dental operations.

Compensation & Bonus Structure

  • Hourly Pay: Starting at $18 per hour, with opportunities to pick up additional hours across offices.
  • Monthly Bonuses: Earn performance-based bonuses each month.

Assistant Track — Training & Career Growth

For team members interested in building a long-term dental career, we offer structured support toward:

  • CPR/BLS
  • Dental terminology and basic clinical skills
  • Pathways toward Dental Assistant certifications, including:
  • X-ray license
  • RDA, RDA-EF, CDA
  • Expanded function certifications

We reimburse 50% of approved external course costs upon registration and successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Sterilize instruments following OSHA and infection-control protocols
  • Maintain clean, organized operatories and sterilization areas
  • Prepare trays, materials, and equipment for procedures
  • Monitor and restock supplies
  • Support the clinical team with room turnover
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly sterilization logs
  • Assist with basic lab case organization and tracking
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the clinical team

Qualifications

  • Interest in dental or medical environments (experience preferred but not required)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately and maintain a clean, safe workspace
  • Must be available to work Saturdays
  • CPR/BLS and Infection Control training preferred (or willing to obtain)
