Repair Technician
Our client, a leading organization in the medical device industry, is seeking a Repair Technician to join their team. As a Repair Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting device repair and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Repair Technician
Location: San Antonio, TX (100% onsite)
Pay Range: $18 to $20 p/h on w-2
Duration: 12 month contract
What's the Job?
- Perform device repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on medical VAC equipment for internal and external customers.
- Execute quality control procedures to ensure all repaired devices meet company standards before returning to customers.
- Provide technical support over the phone for customers, sales teams, and third-party maintenance providers.
- Assist in research, development, testing, and inspection of new products and repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and monitor the condition of tools and calibrated equipment.
What's Needed?
- At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, soldering, or related electrical/mechanical work in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read electrical schematic diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Willingness to undergo a fitness test to meet physical demands of the role.
- Associate degree
