Repair Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the medical device industry, is seeking a Repair Technician  to join their team. As a Repair Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting device repair and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Repair Technician

Location: San Antonio, TX (100% onsite) 

Pay Range: $18 to $20 p/h on w-2
Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

  • Perform device repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on medical VAC equipment for internal and external customers.
  • Execute quality control procedures to ensure all repaired devices meet company standards before returning to customers.
  • Provide technical support over the phone for customers, sales teams, and third-party maintenance providers.
  • Assist in research, development, testing, and inspection of new products and repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and monitor the condition of tools and calibrated equipment.

What's Needed?

  • At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, soldering, or related electrical/mechanical work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read electrical schematic diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to undergo a fitness test to meet physical demands of the role.
  • Associate degree
