Critical Facilities Technician
Our client, a leader in the engineering and data center industry, is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician I to join their team. As a Critical Facilities Technician I, you will be part of the Facilities Operations supporting critical infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Critical Facilities Technician - Entry Level

6-24 month contract
Shift Schedule: Day/ Night Shift
Pay Range:$28
What's the Job?
- Manage and oversee data center engineering operations on-site, ensuring safety and efficiency standards are maintained.
- Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality work and adherence to procedures.
- Establish performance benchmarks, analyze operational data, and prepare detailed reports on facility performance.
- Operate and maintain critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS, chillers, and cooling towers, including emergency response when necessary.
- Assist in designing, building, and optimizing new and existing facilities to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree or Technical (Military/Trade School) Degree with relevant experience.
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience in data center or engineering environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Fundamental knowledge of network design, low voltage cabling, and critical infrastructure systems.
