Sales Associate Steel

Position: Sales Associate – Steel & New Business

 

About the Company:

We are the U.S. branch office of Korean Coglomerate company, one of Korea’s major business groups.

Our company is mainly engaged in international trading and distribution, with a strong focus on steel products, as well as other business areas such as petrochemical, energy-related products, biofuel, and new business development.

 

Work Type: W2, Full-Time
Location: Houston, TX
Work Arrangement: Onsite only / No remote work
Expected Start: Around July 2026
Salary Range: Starting from $70,000+, depending on experience and qualifications

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in steel sales is preferred, but not strictly limited to this range
  • Experience in trading, import/export, steel distribution, service center business, energy-related business, or industrial sales is a plus
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a new branch office environment
  • Highly motivated, responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to develop new markets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

 

Language Requirement:

  • Fluent English is required
  • Korean language ability is strongly preferred
  • The candidate does not need to be Korean, but strong English communication skills are the top priority

 

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for someone who can develop new accounts in the steel industry while also supporting our expansion into broader industrial business opportunities in the Houston market, including energy, oil & gas, EPC projects, and infrastructure-related sectors.

Since this is a new branch office, we would prefer a candidate who is proactive, flexible, and capable of building business from the ground up.
