We are seeking an energetic, personable, and results-driven Front Desk Business Development & Membership Manager to serve as the face of our organization while driving membership growth and client retention.
Position Overview
The Front Desk Business Development & Membership Manager is responsible for creating exceptional first impressions, managing membership sales, building client relationships, and supporting the overall growth of Crull Fitness. This role combines customer service, sales, marketing support, and business development into a leadership position that directly impacts the success of the company.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, highly organized, comfortable with sales, and passionate about helping people find the right fitness solutions for their goals.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Sales & Business Development
- Generate new membership sales through tours, consultations, and relationship building.
- Follow up with leads, inquiries, and prospective members.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses, schools, sports organizations, and community groups.
- Execute membership campaigns, promotions, and referral programs.
- Track sales metrics and work toward monthly and quarterly growth goals.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through programs, services, and member engagement initiatives.
Front Desk & Client Experience
- Serve as the first point of contact for members, guests, and prospective clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service in person, by phone, email, and social media.
- Manage member check-ins, scheduling, and account updates.
- Handle membership enrollments, renewals, upgrades, and cancellations.
- Resolve member concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure the facility maintains a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate membership and client records.
- Assist with billing, membership agreements, and payment processing.
- Coordinate communication between members, coaches, and management.
- Support gym events, workshops, and community outreach efforts.
- Help implement systems and processes that improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or business development.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, scheduling software, and basic office technology.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience in the fitness, wellness, sports, or healthcare industries.
- Membership sales or client retention experience.
- Experience with social media marketing and community outreach.
- Leadership or management experience.
