Job Summary
Seasonal part-time position, providing administrative and accounting support for the preparation of clients’ tax returns, bookkeeping, and associated systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of individual and business income tax returns, including data entry, document management, basic tax research, and other associated tasks.
- Support the development of accurate and appropriate recording of clients’ revenues and expenses through the use of industry appropriate and authorized AI tools.
- Maintain client confidentiality, adhere to privacy and data security standards, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Position requirements
- Education: Current enrollment as a junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Accounting, with a demonstrated interest in tax, or a graduate student actively pursuing an advanced degree in Accounting or Taxation.
- Coursework: Completion of individual or business tax courses at an accredited institution.

Technical skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- General software and computer hardware skills is required.
- Adobe Acrobat experience is preferred.

Schedule
- 20 hours per week, February 1 through April 15. (Daily schedule based on availability.)
