Audit Associate

Your role:

  • Participate on team engagements or projects of various clients.
  • Identify accounting and auditing problems as they arise and resolve them with the assistance of senior associates.
  • Know and understand the Firm’s service approach, professional requirements and lines of business.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Develop and evolve technical and professional skills.
  • Support the Firm’s mission, vision and values by exhibiting excellence, competence, teamwork, collaboration, innovation, respect, personalization, commitment and accountability.

Job Responsibilities – will include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate with a team on client audit engagements.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards, government and common audit procedures and techniques.
  • Possesses technical knowledge sufficient to perform Associate level responsibilities.
  • Establish and maintain quality client relationships.
  • Identify and communicate accounting matters to supervisors, managers and partners.
  • Provide excellent client service with timely communication.
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; master's in accounting a plus.
  • Internship or previous experience in public accounting with emphasis in Audit a plus.
  • Knowledge of current federal and state tax laws.
  • MS Office proficiency.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
