Compliance and Training Development Intern – Summer 2024 (HR and Legal)

 

Job Summary: 

 

Through our paid internship program, you’ll gain hands-on experience assisting in the development and implementation of specific marketing projects. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance and Training Development Intern to join our HR and legal team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources compliance and training curriculum development within a dynamic organization. The intern will work closely with our HR team to support various initiatives aimed at ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations while also contributing to the development of training materials for our employees.

 

Duration of Internship: May 20th – August 9th 

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own projects from start to finish within your functional area, including problem-solving, resourcefulness and a willingness to bring fresh ideas.
  • Review existing Legal and HR policies, procedures, and training materials to identify areas for improvement and updates.
  • Develop and update training curriculum related to compliance topics such as anti-discrimination, harassment prevention, and workplace safety.
  • Help create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, videos, and e-learning modules.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions related to legal and HR compliance initiatives and training curriculum development.
  • Shadow leadership to develop understanding around culture and operating systems.
  • Be part of a summer internship program where you get leadership exposure inside and outside of your respective team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Legal Studies, Human Resources, Regulatory Compliance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Teams and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work creatively and strategically.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • This position is located onsite in our Chandler, AZ office.
  • Relocation is not available for this role.
  • US Person is required for this role.
