Park Aide (Angel Island State Park)

Work on the dock greeting and assisting visitors. Make someone’s day by welcoming them to the biggest island on the bay!
Duties include: Greeting visitors, handing out maps, answering questions, aiding visitor trip-planning, managing ferry queuing and loading, collecting fees, checking campers in, monitoring restrooms, performing light maintenance and cleaning, deckhanding* on State Park vessels, and supporting emergency response. Uniform required.  For seasonal employees, historic 3-story homes, originally built for U.S. Army Officers in 1910, have been converted to dormitory-style housing. For $70/month, seasonal staff rent individual rooms and share a kitchen, living room, dining room and multiple bathrooms.  Dogs are not permitted, but other indoor pets may be allowed with permission.
