Internship Summary:

We are looking for a talented, creative, and energetic Social Media/Video/Marketing Intern to join our Marketing Team. This position is responsible for providing support to the marketing department through a variety of channels and supporting the team’s creative and design goals. The Social Media/Video/Marketing Intern will assist with the development and design of social media posts, videos, email campaigns and other materials, help manage the company’s social media accounts, and perform other marketing duties as requested

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design and production of social media posts and emails
• Assist execution of social media and email campaigns and the management of social media accounts
• Shoot and edit videos for social posts, websites and other marketing channels
• Conduct research to identify market trends and target customer preferences
• Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience
• Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline
• Any other creative or administrative tasks necessary to support the team

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with digital media
• Familiarity and experience with various social media platforms
• Ability to conduct research and analyze data
• Proficient in programs, Microsoft Office Suite, Constant Contact and video editing software. Bonus if proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Team player

Experience and Education:

• Current undergrad course or projects in Communications, Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field, or relevant experience

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Daily computer and internet usage
• Hear, speech, and vision necessary
• Fast-paced position at times
• Able to multi-task and prioritize several assignments/projects at once
• Must be Detail oriented
• Possess excellent computer skills including knowledge of the internet, excel, word
