Logistics Assistant
Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist in coordinating the transportation, tracking and delivery of loads from the account manager, maintain spreadsheets updated, enter loads to system and support the logistics team in ensuring timely and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the account manager and hist team in planning and coordinating the on time delivery of transportation of goods and materials of all customers handled by account manager.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, loads, and related documents.
- Help with order processing and track deliveries to ensure on-time arrival.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and customers to resolve any logistical issues.
- Assist with preparing and organizing shipping documents and invoices for the accounting team.
- Monitor transit loads and report issues to the logistics team.
- Help with data entry and manage logistics databases or software systems.
- Support the logistics department with various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communications skills
- Needs to be fully proficient in English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Desire age: 21-25 years old
- Previous experience in a logistics or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with logistics software is a plus.
