About the role!

Are you ready to elevate your career and become a vital part of our vibrant accounting team? We’re on the hunt for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join us at our Houston office, located at 16875 Diana Lane, Houston, TX 77058.

 

In this full-time, in-office role, you’ll be diving into the exciting world of Accounts Payable, where your skills will help shape the financial backbone of our thriving business. What You Will Do-

  • Manage Credit card coding companywide
  • Home Depot & Shell Gas Card Management
  • Subcontractor Checks- ensure that checks companywide are being mailed out properly.
  • Overhead invoice processing.
  • Houston office indexing.
  • Tax exempt forms.
  • Data entry into Sage 300 & Paperless software’s.
  • Assists with recording all accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist in month end closing.
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What You Bring to the Table-

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence & memos.
  • Strong work ethic & willingness to learn the Jamail & Smith way!
  • Previous experience in accounting with accounts payable is preferred!
  • Previous experience with accounting software preferred. Experience in Sage 300 is a plus!
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent communicator-able to work as a team member and provide support to staff.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Schedule:

· Monday through Friday, 7:30am- 4:30pm or 8:00am-5:00pm.
