Student Assistant-California Pathways to Public Health Fall 2025 Internship (Hybrid)

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is seeking to hire twenty-five (25) student assistants to participate in a public health internship, specifically with the California Pathways into Public Health (Pathways) program. The Pathways Internship Program is a paid, semester-long program for community college, undergraduate, and graduate students from historically underrepresented and diverse backgrounds to gain exposure to public services at local health departments (LHDs). Pathways has partnered with LHDs throughout California, representing the geographic and demographic diversity of the state. Apply to become a Pathways intern at an LHD near you!

The Fall 2025 Pathways Internship Program will run from August 25, 2025 through December 5, 2025. Interns work fifteen (15) to twenty-nine (29) hours per week and will be placed in a participating LHD in or near their location. Hybrid and onsite placements are available. Please note that our program does not offer fully remote placements.
