Accounting and Support Coordinator

Local Candidates ONLY - Full-Time In Office Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented intern or entry-level Accounting and Support Coordinator to join our finance team. If you have a strong foundation in accounting principles, enjoy working with numbers, proficient with MS Excel, and have exceptional communication and data entry skills, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions into accounting software.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing processes.
  • Maintain and update financial records, invoices, and expense reports.
  • Support the finance team with reporting, reconciliation, and audits.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via Zoom, email, and phone to address inquiries and provide support.
  • Support the finance team with administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed.

Required skills:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience (entry-level candidates with relevant coursework will be considered).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be Tech Savvy and willing to learn new technology.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Consistent punctuality, reliability, friendliness, and professionalism even while under pressure
  • Excellent Microsoft computer skills and proficiency in Google Calendar, Docs, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests and inquiries in a professional, friendly, and upbeat manner.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Flexible team player - willing to learn new tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  • Must be a problem solver and address issues promptly.

Pay range: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour

Position type: Full-Time In-Office (No remote work)

Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
